Traptex(r) plumbing protection system

Stryker recently acquired the company Sage who had developed a novel system to prevent non-flushables from clogging pipes. Sales to hospitals have grown rapidly for the past five years and have demonstrated significant cost avoidance. Some early usage in restaurants, airports, and other non-medical facilities.

Opportunity to leverage a patent-protected (granted and pending global patent portfolio) and proven system for preventing damage to plumbing systems in markets outside of the hospital. Exclusive or non-exclusive license potential for toilet fixtures and/or for installation in all non-hospital markets. Currently an installed device, but could be shipped with toilets into these new markets.
